LIC Appoints Shatmanyu Shrivastava As Chief Risk Officer

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has appointed Shatmanyu Shrivastava as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with effect from March 19, 2025.

Shrivastava joined LIC in 1990 as part of the 18th batch of direct recruitment officers. He has worked across LIC’s branch, divisional, zonal, and central offices. In May 2022, he took charge as chief (F&A) at the central office and led the first closing of LIC’s accounts post-IPO. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Insurance Institute of India. He has cleared seven actuarial examination papers from the Institute of Actuaries of India.
