Lighthouse Communities Foundation to List on BSE Social Stock Exchange

Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF), a non-profit organisation focused on helping underserved youth build sustainable livelihoods, is set to list on the Bombay Stock Exchange’s Social Stock Exchange (SSE). Its public issue of Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) instruments opened on September 30 and will remain open until October 14, 2026.

The funds raised through the issue will support the expansion of LCF’s livelihood programme in Pune, covering career counselling, vocational skilling, employer partnerships, and long-term livelihood tracking. The SSE is a SEBI-regulated platform for eligible non-profit organisations.

LCF has been running its youth livelihood programme for around a decade and has enabled more than 50,000 young people to access livelihood opportunities. The organisation currently operates 51 centres across six states — Delhi, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh — offering 80 vocational courses through more than 100 partner organisations across sectors such as manufacturing, BFSI, fashion, fitness and nutrition, beauty services, electrical work, accounting and hospitality.

Women account for 60% of programme enrolments, while 77% of placed youth remain employed one year after placement. According to LCF, two-thirds of graduates generate their own job leads after completing the programme.

The proposed listing follows a May 27, 2026, amendment to India’s CSR rules, which allows companies to fulfil CSR obligations through subscriptions to ZCZP instruments issued by SSE-listed non-profit organisations.

Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Founder & Chairman, LCF, said the listing would strengthen the organisation’s ability to build a livelihood ecosystem while reinforcing transparency and accountability for institutional donors, impact investors and CSR partners.
