12th Annual Compliance 10/10 Symposium & Awards: Beyond the Score
Where compliance moves from a measurable outcome to a living standard of judgement, accountability and trust.
Compliance today is no longer about simply ticking the right boxes. A filing may be complete, a process may be followed and a requirement may be met – but the real test is whether governance holds up when it matters.
Boards, regulators and stakeholders expect businesses to demonstrate that governance works in practice: across decisions, systems, people and technology. That expectation is becoming harder to meet. Data now moves across employees, cloud platforms, third parties and AI systems. Technology-led disruption, geopolitical uncertainty and overlapping compliance obligations are reshaping the risk environment. Periodic checks are giving way to a need for continuous control, traceability and accountability.
That is the backdrop to the 12th Annual Compliance 10/10 Symposium and Awards, hosted by Legasis on 10 October 2026 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. This year’s theme, Beyond the Score, asks a sharper question: what defines compliance when the score itself is no longer enough?
GRACE – Governance, Risk, Assurance, Compliance and Ethics – provides the lens. The challenge is not merely to prove that a rule was followed, but to ensure that the intent behind governance is reflected consistently in how a business operates and how its leaders make decisions.
“The real test is whether governance holds up when it matters.”

TEST. THINK. COMPETE.
The day opens with the Compliance Quiz Finale – a high-energy test of knowledge and judgement. Following earlier online rounds, three finalist teams will battle it out before an audience of 300 industry peers. More than a quiz, it brings a competitive edge to compliance and turns learning into something engaging and memorable.
MIND THE GAP
The 2026 symposium, Mind the Gap, explores where policy, risk controls, accountability and ethical intent fall out of alignment – and how organisations can close those gaps in practice.
Four panels will take on pressing questions facing businesses today. Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity will examine trust in the age of AI, from control of company data to accountability for technology-driven decisions. Risk and Resilience will ask whether passing compliance checks is enough to establish real resilience. The Compliance discussion will focus on building compliance into product design and core business processes, while Governance and Ethics will examine the distance between stated values, actual conduct and stakeholder expectations.
COMPLIANCE, BROUGHT TO LIFE
The symposium will be followed by Compliance Theatre, where real-life workplace situations will be enacted to explore behavioural change, organisational culture and the impact of the compliance function. Expert analysis and “what-if” scenarios will examine alternative actions and their outcomes.
RECOGNISING THOSE WHO RAISE THE BAR
The evening culminates with the Oscars of Compliance, honouring individuals, teams, programmes and organisations setting higher standards across India Inc. The 2026 jury is led by Hon’ble Justice Abhay S. Oka, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, alongside Mr. Shailesh Haribhakti, Mr. Vineet Vij, Ms. Ashwini Deshpande and Mr. Rajesh Bagga.
Across its editions, Compliance 10/10 has brought together CEOs, directors, general counsel, company secretaries, CFOs and risk and compliance leaders to discuss issues shaping responsible business.
This year, the conversation moves beyond whether an organisation can achieve the score – to whether it can sustain the judgement, accountability and integrity behind it.
