Anant Maheshwari the President of Microsoft India resigns

Microsoft India announced the resignation of President Anant Maheshwari on 7th July 2023. He has been working with Microsoft India since 2016.

Prior to this, Maheshwari served as the President of Honeywell India and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. He received his master’s degree from the Birla Institute of Technology in 1996. He also received a management degree from IIM Ahmedabad in 1998.

Irina Ghose, the company’s COO, has been elevated to the Managing Director of Microsoft India. While company’s MD Sashi Sreedharan is now elevated to a more senior position. Puneet Chandok, the former President of AWS (Amazon Web Services) India, may join Microsoft India, claimed some reports. Navtej Bal, Director of Microsoft India’s public sector, has also been elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Venkat Krishnan has been promoted to Executive Director of public sector business.
