One 97 Communications Appoints Two Independent Directors, Announces Leadership Changes
One 97 Communications Limited has appointed Sachee Trivedi and Narasinganallore Venkatesh Srinivasan as Non-Executive Independent Directors for a three-year term, effective July 5, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).
The Board also accepted the resignation of Urvashi Sahai as Whole-Time Director and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with effect from July 5, 2026. She will continue as General Counsel and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Legal. The company also designated Anuj Mittal, Avijit Jain, and Vikash Jalan as Senior Management Personnel (SMP).
Sachee Trivedi is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and Managing Partner of Trident Capital Investments and has over 20 years of experience in global equities investing and regulatory advisory. Before founding Trident Capital, she was a Member of the Global Equities team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in London. She is also a patron of Indian classical arts in London and a founding member of 100 Women in Finance in Luxembourg. Trivedi holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Earlier, Narasinganallore Venkatesh Srinivasan served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association of Mutual Funds in India, Chairman of FIMMDA, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director at IDBI Bank, and Executive Director at Lakshmi Vilas Bank. He serves as an Independent Director at Indel Money and holds directorships at Acuité Ratings & Research, Clearcorp Dealing Systems India, Integro Finserv, IDFC AMC Trustee Company, Legal Entity Identifier India, and Paytm Money. He has also been appointed Independent Non-Executive Director at AU Small Finance Bank. He graduated from the University of Kerala.
