Pravin K. Purang Appointed As Chairperson Of Schneider Electric Infrastructure; Namrata Kaul Retires As Independent Director
Pravin Kumar Purang has been appointed as the Chairperson of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited, effective November 6, 2025.
Further, Namrata Kaul has completed her final term as an Independent Director of the company, effective November 5, 2025.
Purang has served as Managing Director (MD) of Royal Enfield Motors and Eicher Ltd. and as Director on the Board of Eicher Consultancy Services. He also advised Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. for over a decade and headed its group procurement. Actively engaged in academics for more than 35 years, he founded OPJIT Engineering College and served as Chancellor of OPJ University. He has authored works on management and productivity sciences and received several awards, including IIT Delhi’s Outstanding Contribution Award in 2019. He is a corporate competency assessment expert, having evaluated over 500 senior professionals in India and abroad. Purang holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in industrial engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi.
As MD at Deutsche Bank AG, Kaul led the Corporate Bank in India and served on the Deutsche Bank Asia Executive Committee, the Board of Deutsche Bank India, and the Diversity Council. She is an investor and mentor at PadUp Ventures and serves as Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of CARE International (Geneva), a global humanitarian organisation. With over 32 years of banking experience, she has worked across treasury, corporate banking, debt capital markets, and corporate finance in India and the UK. Kaul holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and a postgraduate degree in management from IIM Ahmedabad. She is a Chevening Scholar from the London School of Economics.
