Yes Bank’s Binu Soman Resign from the post of Chief Vigilance Officer

Binu Soman, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Yes Bank Limited has resigned from the post. The Bank has designated Harish Sehgal, Head – AML & Principal Officer, as the Interim CVO until the appointment of a new CVO.

In his capacity as Interim CVO, Sehgal will report to the Managing Director & CEO of the Bank and will be designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) with effect from September 16, 2026.

Prior to joining Yes Bank, Harish Sehgal worked as a Vigilance Officer with HDFC Bank for around two years. During his more than 15 years at Yes Bank, Harish has built extensive experience across AML and the Risk Investigation and Control Unit (RICU). He spent nearly 11 years in RIC, supporting the Retail Asset and SME businesses, and also served as the National RCU Head.

Harish Sehgal has 27 years of experience, having started his career as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army. After completing six years and six months of contractual service, he transitioned into the banking sector and worked with various banks across multiple geographies. He began his banking career with HSBC and spent 14 years with Citibank. He has also served as Head of Investigation at Yes Bank and as Vice President and Head of Investigation for West and East India at Citibank India.
