Shanay Vikram Shah ceases as Whole-time Director after Shalby’s shareholders reject appointment
The shareholders of Shalby Limited have not approved the appointment of Shanay Vikram Shah as Director and Whole-time Director.
The Board had approved his appointment on August 12, 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval at AGM.
The result of voting showed that his appointment as Director and Whole-time Director did not receive the requisite majority.
Consequently, Shah ceased to hold office as Additional Director (Whole-time Director) with effect from September 10, 2026, He will, however, continue to serve as President of the Company.
Shah is a Promoter of Shalby Limited and senior business leader with over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. Associated with the Company since October 2013, he has played a key role in overseeing its business operations, including international business, strategy, financial operations, human resources and investor relations. He was appointed President of the Company for a five-year term effective October 5, 2024. Shah is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) and is associated with leading industry bodies including CII, ICC, FICCI and ASSOCHAM. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and a Master’s degree in International Health Management from Imperial College London. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
