Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Appoints Sanjeev Nautiyal as MD & CEO

The Board of Directors of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited, on May 3, 2024, has approved the appointment of Sanjeev Nautiyal as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank for three years, with effect from July 1, 2024. He will also assume office as Key Managerial Personnel for a period co-terminus with his tenure as the MD and CEO of the bank.

Sanjeev Nautiyal is a banker with over three decades of extensive strategic domain expertise in Retail, SME, Financial Inclusion, Operations, HR, International Banking, and Treasury. He earlier held significant roles as Deputy Managing Director, Financial Inclusion and Micro Markets, SBI, and MD and CEO, SBI Life Insurance. Currently, he is the Independent Director of Life Insurance Corporation and acts as an advisor for various organisations. Nautiyal holds a bachelor’s degree in arts and a master’s degree in business administration. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
