Titan Appoints N.S. Raghavan As CEO of EyeCare; Saumen Bhaumik Is MD of CaratLane

The Board of Directors of Titan Company Limited has approved the appointment of N.S. Raghavan, who is currently serving as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of the Eyecare Division of the company, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the EyeCare Division. Raghvan will replace Saumen Bhaumik, who will take over the position of Managing Director of CaratLane Trading Private Limited (CaratLane), a subsidiary of the company where Titan holds 99.99%.

The transition of these roles will be completed on or before October 1, 2024.

N.S. Raghavan joined Titan in December 2023. He has over 27 years of experience in the eyewear industry and an impressive track record. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and Executive Management Degrees from INSEAD and ESSEC Business Schools.

Saumen Bhaumik joined Titan in the early 90’s and has been the CEO of Titan’s EyeCare Division for the last four and a half years, leading it through a period of innovation and expansion and bringing it into sustained profitability. Prior to taking the leadership role in EyeCare, Saumen had played multiple leadership roles in the jewellery and watches businesses of Titan, apart from being the regional business head for the North region.
