Arun Kumar Singh Appointed Additional Director on the Board of Bandhan Bank by RBI

The Bandhan Bank Limited announced that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Banking Regulator, has appointed Arun Kumar Singh as Additional Director for a period of one year with effect from June 24, 2024, to June 23, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes first.

With almost 36 years of experience at the RBI, Arun Kumar Singh is a retired Chief General Manager of the bank. Singh has worked in a variety of capacities in the areas of financial inclusion, monetary policy, information technology, government banking, non-banking supervision and regulation, and enforcement actions against banks and non-banks. In addition, he served for three years as the State of Rajasthan’s regional director and five times as the RBI’s Nominee Director for banking and non-banking organisations. In addition to being a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking (CAIIB), he has an MBA in finance and human resources and a degree in economics.
