TIME’s ‘World’s Best Companies of 2023: Infosys, the only Indian Company in Top 100

Infosys is the only Indian company in TIME Magazine’s 2023 World’s Best Companies list. TIME identified top-performing companies worldwide based on three key factors: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) criteria. Infosys secured the 64th position among 750 global firms, with an impressive score of 88.38.

Founded in 1981, Infosys is a global consulting and IT services company listed on the NYSE as well. With over 336,000 employees, as stated on its website, Infosys has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s reputation as a hub for software services talent during its 40+ years of operation.

Infosys wrote on X “We are among the top 3 global professional services firms and the only brand from India in the Top 100 global rankings.”

Microsoft, a top performer, saw a remarkable 63% increase in revenue since 2020, reaching $72 billion in its latest fiscal year, while also reducing emissions by 0.5%.

Dublin-based Accenture achieved the highest ESG ranking on the list and aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2025, with significant emissions reductions since 2019.

Infosys stood out as the only Indian company in the top 100 and ranked among the top 3 professional services companies, alongside Accenture (rank 4) and Deloitte (rank 36).
