Thomas Dauner appointed as Additional Director at Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland appoints Thomas Dauner as Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent), effective June 4, 2024, for a term of five years.
With around three decades of expertise, Thomas Dauner, 55, a German native, is a well-known authority in the automotive and industrial goods space. Leading international corporations, including private equity firms, have benefited from his advice on growing shareholder value, portfolio management, strategy, performance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) concerns. He has overseen some noteworthy transformation initiatives that have resulted in a notable increase in share price. He has worked in Brazil, China, Japan, India, Europe, and the United States. As the head of the largest industrial practice at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he saw rapid expansion and was instrumental in establishing the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and digital/AI agendas. From ESB Business School, he received his BA in European Business Administration (London & Reutlingen).
