Sunil M. Suratwala Joins Sahyadri Industries’ Board As Independent Director; Moushmi S. Shaha & Ankem S.P. Mohan Reappointed To Board
Sunil Mahendra Suratwala has been appointed as an Independent Director of Sahyadri Industries Limited, with effect from May 9, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Meanwhile, Moushmi Sahil Shaha and Ankem Sri Prasad Mohan have been reappointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors of the company for a second term of 5 years with effect from July 22, 2026, and December 21, 2026, respectively, subject to approval of the shareholders.
Suratwala has more than 35 years of experience across assurance services, compliance, advisory, and litigation related to corporate law, taxation, and regulatory matters. Over the course of his career, Suratwala has worked on financial and legal advisory assignments involving Corporate Governance, statutory compliance, and regulatory affairs. His professional experience spans multiple sectors, with a focus on audit, taxation, and dispute resolution. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Shaha has more than 21 years of experience in finance, accounts, audits, and financial training. Over the course of her career, she has worked across areas related to financial management, accounting practices, audit processes, and professional training. Her experience includes handling finance and compliance functions as well as conducting financial education and training programmes. She holds a Master of Commerce degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Mohan is a chartered accountant with more than 28 years of experience across finance, taxation, regulatory affairs, and compliance functions. Over the course of his career, he has worked with multinational companies across industries as well as with Big Four audit, tax, and consulting firms. His professional experience includes handling financial management, tax advisory, compliance frameworks, and regulatory matters across domestic and international business operations. He holds an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business and has been a certified international tax professional since 2010.
