Sunflag Iron & Steel Independent Director Anand Sadashiv Kapre Ceases To Hold Office

Anand Sadashiv Kapre has ceased to be a Non-executive, Independent Director of Sunflag Iron & Steel Company Limited with effect from September 20, 2026, due to completion of his fixed second term of three years.

Kapre, aged around 75, began his career with ACC and Indian Oxygen Limited before spending 25 years with ICICI Limited, where he worked across project and working capital finance, follow-up and risk management. He later worked as an independent financial consultant and headed Risk Management and Environment, Health & Safety functions at IL&FS Private Equity. During his career, Kapre has served on the Boards of more than 20 companies and has expertise in finance, banking, law, economics and trade. He was also Chairperson of the Project Monitoring Committee and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Share Transfer Committee at Sunflag Iron & Steel. He is a B.Tech. (Electrical) graduate from IIT Madras and holds an L.L.B. from Mumbai University.
