Rujuta Prakash Jagtap Reappointed As Independent Director Of Praj Industries
Rujuta Prakash Jagtap has been reappointed as an Independent Director of Praj Industries Limited, with effect from August 21, 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders.
Jagtap is the first woman Chairperson of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Chairperson of the British Business Group. She is Executive Director on the Board of Saj Test Plant Pvt. Ltd. and a Member of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) since 2018. She has over 23 years of experience in management, administration, and marketing. She has worked with Tata Steel Ltd. and Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank. She is a Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs, TiE, and a judge on their business plan competitions joint initiative with Praj. She holds leadership and governance experience across industry bodies in India ecosystem as well. Jagtap completed an MBA in International Business from Symbiosis in 2002.
