
Rajesh Kumar Acharya Succeeds Avinash Hariharno As CFO Of Simplex Castings
Rajesh Kumar Acharya has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Simplex Castings Limited, with effect from May 28, 2026. He succeeds Avinash Hariharno, who has retired as CFO and is designated as Whole-Time Director (Additional Director), effective May 28, 2026.
Additionally, Palash Singhania has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of the company with effect from May 28, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Acharya is a senior management professional with over 30 years of experience across commercial management, financial planning, budgeting, cost management, statutory compliance, internal audit, and corporate administration. He has worked across steel, power, and manufacturing sectors, handling finance and control functions in senior roles. His experience includes overseeing financial planning processes, managing cost structures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting internal audit frameworks. He has contributed to corporate administration and operational financial management across large industrial organisations.
Hariharno is a finance professional with over 26 years of experience in finance, accounting, and corporate banking. He previously served as CFO and has been associated with the organisation for more than 25 years, contributing to strengthening financial management, internal controls, compliance systems, and strategic financial planning. His work has involved overseeing core finance functions and supporting business decisions through structured financial processes and governance frameworks.
Singhania has over 11 years of experience across portfolio management, asset management, corporate directorship, and financial services. He has worked in areas related to financial planning, investment strategy, and business growth. His work experience spans financial services roles with a focus on investment management and advisory functions across client portfolios and institutional assignments. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) accredited by the Financial Planning Standards Board, Mumbai.
