Manoj Sonawala appointed Independent Director of Garware Hi-Tech Films
Mr. Manoj Sonawala has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board of M/s. Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited (GHFL), a BSE and NSE listed company and a leading manufacturer of specialty performance polyester film products.
Mr. Manoj Sonawala has also been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director on the Boards of M/s. Piyush Pratap Investments Private Limited, an investment arm of the Potential Group of Companies and M/s. Niva Exim Private Limited, an export import arm of the Potential Group of Companies.
Mr. Sonawala boasts over three decades of extensive post-qualification experience in Governance, Disclosures and Reporting, Risk Management, Ethics and Compliance, and Stakeholder Management. He has been affiliated with distinguished companies that have set industry benchmarks in Corporate Governance, Ethics, and Standards.
As the Founding Chairman of Manoyog GRC Advisors since 2016, Mr. Sonawala provides expert guidance on Governance, Risk, and Compliance matters, steering businesses in Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) and concentrating on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategies through cutting-edge technology platforms.
During his tenure as GM-Corporate & Company Secretary at Tata Services Ltd. and Chief Ethics Officer, Mr. Sonawala oversaw legal and secretarial compliances, championing best ethical practices at Tata Services Ltd. His extensive career also includes significant roles at Forbes Group and CRB Group.
