J.K. Cement Appoints Rakesh Sethi as Non-Executive Independent Director

The Board of Directors of JK Cement Limited has approved the appointment of Rakesh Sethi as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director with immediate effect.

Rakesh Sethi has been a career banker and has held several top positions during his 38 years of experience in the banking industry. He has worked in various segments of the banking industry, including but not limited to Corporate Banking, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Risk Management, Deposit Planning, Corporate Communications, Government Business, etc. He served as the Executive Director of Punjab National Bank, Chairman and Managing Director of Allahabad Bank, and in various capacities at Andhra Bank. He is currently an Independent Director and Chairperson of the Board of TruCap Finance, an RBI-registered NBFC listed on the BSE and NSE. He is a Gold Medalist in Master of Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
