
HDFC Bank’s Bhavesh Zaveri Retired As Executive Director
The Board of Directors of HDFC Bank Limited noted the retirement of Bhavesh Zaveri as an Executive Director of the Bank with effect from April 18, 2026.
Zaveri has been Executive Director of the Bank since April 19, 2023, heading the ATM, Operations, and Administration functions. He joined the Bank in 1998, serving in Operations and later becoming Business Head of Wholesale Banking Operations in 2000. He was appointed Group Head of Operations in 2009 and added responsibility for IT in 2015, contributing to the bank’s digital transformation.
Zaveri has over 36 years of experience across operations, cash management, and technology, overseeing corporate, MSME, and retail banking verticals, including payments, cash management, trade finance, treasury, and ATM products. He has participated in RBI committees and the formation of NPCI and serves on the SWIFT Brussels Global Board. He holds a master’s in commerce from Mumbai University and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
