G.V. Prasad Reappointed As Co-Chairman & MD Of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

G.V. Prasad has been reappointed as Co-Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited with effect from January 30, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Prasad is a promoter and member of the Board of Directors at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. With over 36 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s long-term vision, leadership development, and engagement with healthcare trends. He serves on the Boards of ISB and IFRE and is part of the governing bodies at McKinsey Centre and IPHS Hyderabad. He leads initiatives in science, technology, and digitalisation while aligning efforts with broader goals related to people, health, and the environment. Prasad holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and an M.S. in industrial administration from Purdue University, Indiana.
