Dr Santrupt Misra Joins CEAT As Independent Director
Dr Santrupt Misra has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of CEAT Limited, effective from March 18, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.
Dr Santrupt Misra served in various leadership roles at Aditya Birla Group, including Director of Group Human Resources and Group Director of Birla Carbon. He is a global business leader with nearly four decades of experience in Corporate Governance, organisational transformation, and human resource development. He has also been an Independent Director on the Board of ONGC Limited. He has contributed to public service through his work with Karmayogi Bharat and the United Nations Global Compact Network India. Dr Misra holds postgraduate degrees in political science and personnel management, two PhDs in public administration and industrial relations, and an honorary D.Sc. from Aston University. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) and an Eisenhower Fellow.
