Dhampur Sugar Mills’ Independent Director Mahesh Mehrotra Passes Away

Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited has announced the sad demise of Mahesh Prasad Mehrotra, Independent Director of the company, on April 5, 2024.

Mahesh Prasad Mehrotra, an Independent Director of Dhampur Sugar Mills since 1987, was a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Mehrotra had over four decades of experience in finance and taxation; he was the Founder Partner of M/s Mehrotra & Mehrotra. He held memberships in esteemed organisations such as the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation under the Ministry of Labour, Government of India, and The Associated Chambers of Commerce of India. Additionally, he had served as a Director on the board of Canara Bank.
