CSB Bank Proposes Biswamohan Mahapatra’s Reappointment As Independent Director

CSB Bank Limited has proposed the reappointment of Biswamohan Mahapatra as an Independent Director with effect from the date of shareholder approval until August 2, 2029, subject to approval by postal ballot.

Mahapatra is a former central banker with over three decades of service at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), where he held various senior positions and retired as Executive Director. During his tenure, he was closely involved in banking regulation, policy formulation, and the implementation of Basel III regulations. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the Arthur D. Little Management Education Institute in the USA, an MBA in Finance, and a Master’s in English Literature.
