Anushree Kunhambu To Join Abbott India As Associate Director Of New Product Introduction & Therapy Area Strategy
Anushree Kunhambu has been appointed as an Associate Director of New Product Introduction and Therapy Area Strategy at Abbott India Limited, effective August 1, 2025. She will be part of the senior management team of the company.
Anushree Kunhambu brings over a decade of experience in business development, licensing, and strategy across leading healthcare organisations. She currently serves as Head of Strategy & Portfolio, EPD India at Abbott, where she has led several high-impact licensing and acquisition deals in biosimilars, gastrointestinal, women’s health, and CNS. Previously, Anushree established the Life Sciences vertical for GLG in India, supporting commercial due diligence and providing insights to pharmaceutical companies and healthcare investment firms. She also worked at Cipla’s corporate strategy team, executing strategic licensing partnerships across Europe, Turkey, and Brazil.
