
CEO Of JioStar, Ishan Chatterjee, Appointed As Chairman Of Digital Entertainment Committee At IAMAI
The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has appointed Ishan Chatterjee, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JioStar Sports, as Chairman of its Digital Entertainment Committee (DEC).
Chatterjee succeeds Kiran Mani, who previously led the committee. Deepit Purkayastha, Co-Founder and CEO of Inshorts, will continue as Co-Chair of the committee.
Chatterjee previously served as Managing Director (MD) of YouTube India and spent 13 years at Google in leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions. He began his career at McKinsey & Company and Hindustan Unilever, gaining experience in business strategy, analytics, and marketing. In his new role, Chatterjee will work with industry stakeholders on issues related to the digital entertainment sector, including technology, content, consumer engagement, and policy. He has more than two decades of experience in technology and media. Chatterjee is an alumnus of The Wharton School and St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
