Bimal Dayal Appointed As CEO Adani Infrastructure India

Bimal Dayal, previously the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of transmission business at Adani Energy Solutions Limited, has been appointed as the CEO of Adani Infrastructure India Limited, according to a statement by the Adani Group on Friday.

In his new role, Dayal will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various infrastructure projects in thermal, renewable energy, and green hydrogen.

The current management team of Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL), led by Managing Director Anil Sardana and Kandarp Patel overseeing all verticals, will focus on the growth of transmission, distribution, and smart metre segments. The Board of Directors of AESL has duly approved this organisational shift.

This move, as part of the Adani portfolio’s strategy, is aimed at achieving aggressive growth in the infrastructure business at a rate exceeding 15% per year. The company recently announced plans to invest over Rs. 7 lakh crore over the next decade to solidify its position as the largest infrastructure player in India.

Adani Enterprises Limited, the flagship company of the Group, has diverse assets, including ports, airports, solar manufacturing, roads, metros, rails, defence, aerospace, and data centres.
