Bhumika Batra To Replace Purvi Sheth On Deepak Nitrite Board As Independent Director
Deepak Nitrite Limited has appointed Bhumika Batra as an Independent Director for a three-year term starting June 28, 2025. She will succeed Purvi Sheth, whose term ends, effective June 27, 2025.
Bhumika Batra is a Crawford Bayley & Co. partner with about 20 years of experience in legal and regulatory matters. She is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and has completed an executive management program at Cornell University. She serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Jyothy Labs, Hinduja Global Solutions, Repro India, and Sudarshan Chemical Industries. Batra is also a qualified Company Secretary and holds a master’s degree in law.
Purvi Sheth is the CEO of Shilputsi Consultants, a strategic HR consulting firm. She is a certified Board Director by the IICA & Directors Club, Hunt Partners. With over 25 years in HR and leadership roles, she works with business leaders on governance, leadership development, and succession planning. She serves on multiple Boards and chairs various board-level committees across listed and unlisted companies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai University. In the United States, Sheth has earned a CPD in Leadership Management and Business Strategy from the Wharton School. She is also a Certified POSH Practitioner from NDIM, a Certified Leadership Grid Trainer by Blake & Mouton, and a GE Certified Recruiter.
