
Adobe CFO Dan Durn To Step Down, SVP Steve Day To Take Interim Role
Dan Durn will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Adobe. Steve Day, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Finance, will serve as interim CFO from June 15, 2026.
Durn served as CFO & EVP of Adobe from October 2021, leading the company’s finance, technology, security, and operations functions. Before joining Adobe, he was Senior Vice President and CFO at Applied Materials. He also served as CFO at NXP Semiconductors and GlobalFoundries, and held leadership positions in mergers and acquisitions at Mubadala Technology Fund and Goldman Sachs. He was named “Bay Area CFO of the Year” by The San Francisco Business Times in 2024. Durn holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a degree in Control Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Day oversees financial planning, resource allocation, business performance, and corporate finance strategy at Adobe. In his expanded role, he is responsible for Adobe’s global finance organisation and has also taken charge of investor relations, leading engagements with shareholders and analysts. He plays a key role in supporting financial operations across the company’s software and digital experience businesses. Day holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of Southampton.
