Independent Director Rajendran Stella Isabella Resigns From Coromandel Engineering

Coromandel Engineering Company Limited has announced that Rajendran Stella Isabella has resigned as an Independent Director of the company, effective from September 3, 2026. She cited other professional commitments and pre-occupancy as the reason for her resignation.

Following her resignation, she will also cease to be a member of the Audit Committee and Stakeholders Relationship Committee, as well as the Member and Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Isabella is a veteran banker with over three decades of experience in the financial sector. She began her career with Karur Vysya Bank in 1993 and later joined Repco Bank in 1999. She served as Executive Director of Repco Bank from 2015 and was appointed Managing Director in 2019 by the Government of India. She also held the positions of CMD of Repco Micro Finance and Director of Repco Home Finance. She has received several awards for her contributions to banking and financial inclusion, including Woman Leader of the Year among CEOs of Cooperative Banks in 2019–20 and 2022–23.

She holds a master’s degree in Bank Management and an MBA, besides being a certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
