Shubhlakshmi Hasit Dani Joins Asian Paints Board As A Non-Executive Director
The Board of Directors of Asian Paints Limited on 29th July, 2026, has approved the appointment of Shubhlakshmi Dani as an Additional and Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. Subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.
She is part of the Promoter family of Asian Paints, spouse of Hasit Dani (former Non-Executive Director). She is the Whole-time Director of Shubhit Holdings (Shubhit), where she is responsible for governance, strategic planning, operations, compliance and investment oversight. She is also the Co-Founder of Life is Beautiful. Alongside her corporate responsibilities, she leads the philanthropic initiatives of the Paramarth Charitable Trust and is the Founder of Geeta Seva Kitchen. She is also a member of the Executive Directors Advisory Council of the Boston Conservatory at the Berklee College of Music, Boston. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, along with a Diploma in Web Engineering from Arena Multimedia and a Diploma in Textile Designing from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture.
