Force Motors Reappoints Independent Directors Vallabh Bhanshali, Mukesh Patel and Sonia Prashar for Second Term
The Board of Directors of Force Motors Limited on July 29, 2026, has approved the Reappointment of Vallabh Bhanshali, Mukesh Patel, and Sonia Prashar as Independent Directors for a second term of five consecutive years, subject to shareholders’ approval.
Bhanshali and Patel have been reappointed for a term from August 13, 2027 to August 12, 2032, while Prashar’s second term will start from September 28, 2027 to September 27, 2032.
Bhanshali is the Co-founder and chairman of Enam Securities and has served on many policy making bodies including the Reserve bank of India (RBI). He is recipient of many honours he has been admitted to the Hall of Fame of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and recipient of two honorary doctorates. He is also a Director on the Boards of Suroop Fresh Private, Indore Composite, Indore Speciality Materials, Enam Financial Consultants, Enam Investments, Enam Securities, Sarvatra Technologies, Indihood, Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation, Shantilal Muttha Foundation and Foundation for Liberal and Management Education.
Patel is a senior advocate and internationally recognised tax expert with five decades of experience in taxation, corporate governance, and public policy. An author, columnist, and speaker, he has contributed extensively to taxpayer education and has served on key Government of India committees, including the Justice Easwar Committee for simplification of the Income-tax Act and the task force that drafted the new Income-tax law. Patel serves on the boards of several companies, including Zydus Lifesciences Limited. In 2024, he was appointed as the first Honorary Consul of Japan in India and has received Japan’s prestigious Order of the Rising Sun.
Prashar is an experienced professional with nearly three decades of expertise in international trade, development, and Indo-European cooperation. A recipient of the German Order of Merit, she has extensive experience in strategic business partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. She holds degrees in Science and Education, a diploma in German, and an MBA Essentials qualification from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. She is the Managing Director of NuernbergMesse India Private Limited, serves on the Boards of Insilco Limited and Exponova Exhibitions and Conferences (India) Private Limited, and is the Secretary General of the Federation of European Business in India.
