
Manoj Gaur Steps Down As Non-Executive Director Of Jaiprakash Power Ventures
Manoj Gaur has resigned as the Non-Executive Director of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited, effective July 6, 2026. The resignation followed a major stake sale where Adani Power purchased a 24% stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures for Rs. 2,994 crore. This transaction has prompted a comprehensive reshuffling of the company’s Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Gaur is the Non-Executive Chairman of Jaiprakash Associates and has over 30 years of experience in corporate management. He also serves as Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jaiprakash Associates. Serves as a Director of Jaypee Hotels Ltd., Chancellor & Leadership Board Member of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), and Managing Trustee of Jaypee Sewa Sansthan (JSS).
He has also been associated with the development of the group’s sports infrastructure, including the Buddh International Circuit, which hosted Formula One racing events in India. Gaur is a civil engineering graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
