TCS Elevates Girish Ramachandran And R. Vivekanand As SMPs

Girish Ramachandran and R. Vivekanand have been appointed as President of Growth Markets and President of BFSI Products & Platforms, respectively, with effect from January 09, 2025.

Ramachandran will be handling the position of President of Growth Markets for Asia Pacific (APAC), Middle East and Africa (MEA), Latin America (LATAM), India Enterprise, Public Services (Global) & Corporate Affairs. He manages an extensive business portfolio with tremendous growth across over 35 countries, empowering a diverse workforce.

Vivekanand will be handling the position of the President of BFSI Products & Platforms, a strategic business unit focused on products and platforms for the BFSI industry, delivered in a SaaS-first model. He has held various roles that helped shape TCS’ BFSI products business under the TCS BaNCS brand and steered mission-critical implementations in over 30 countries. He has helped establish TCS as one of the global leaders in the Capital Markets, specifically in market infrastructure, trading technology, and asset servicing.
