VST Industries Appointed Rajeev Bakshi as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of VST Industries Limited has approved the appointment of Rajeev Bakshi as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board with effect from July 1, 2024, for five years. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Rajeev Bakshi served as Managing Director of Cadbury India, Chairman of PepsiCo India, and Managing Director of Metro Cash and Carry. He has over four decades of experience in sales and marketing and has been a Board member of multiple companies in different sectors, viz., Marico India, Omniactives Health Technologies, Raymond Consumer Care, Ola Foods, etc. Bakshi is presently the Non-Executive Director of Cummins India, Macrotech Developers, Dalmia Bharat Sugar, and Mother Dairy India. He is also an advisor in the areas of strategy, general management, and marketing. He has been awarded the ‘Distinguished Alumni Award’ in recognition of his contribution to business and society in 2014. He holds a BA (Hons.) degree in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Bangalore, majoring in Marketing.
