Aster DM Healthcare’s CFO Amitabh Johri transitions to a new role, and Jt. CFO Sunil Kumar M. R. takes charge

Amitabh Johri, Joint Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of Aster DM Healthcare Limited, has tendered his resignation on April 25, 2024, due to the segregation of the company’s business in the Gulf Cooperation Council region from its business in India. He will continue as the CFO of the segregated Aster Business in the Gulf Cooperation Council region.

Amitabh Johri was relieved with effect from April 25, 2024, and Sunil Kumar M. R., currently the Joint Chief Financial Officer, assumed the role of CFO and KMP of the company with immediate effect.

Amitabh Johri is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and joined the company in October 2020. Prior to Aster DM Healthcare, he worked with Quatrro Global Services, Wipro BPO, KPMG Audit, RSM, and Khanna & Annadhanam.

Sunil Kumar M. R. is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and joined the company as Finance Controller at Aster Medcity in 2014. In 2017, he started serving as Head of Finance, Kerala Cluster, for a year, and then he served as Head of Finance, India, till 2023, before taking over as Joint CFO of the company. Prior to Aster DM, he worked with Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, NNK and Co., and Ajs Associates.
