Vivek Paranjpe Retired as an Independent Director of Power Mech Projects

Vivek Paranjpe, Non-Executive and Independent Director of Power Mech Projects Limited, completed his second and final term as an Independent Director on August 30, 2026. Consequently, he will cease to be a Director of the Company.

Paranjpe served as a Strategic HR Adviser to Reliance Industries from 2003 to 2019 and currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of SHRM for the Asia Pacific region and serves on the Board of Governors of the ITM Group.

Prior to Reliance, he spent 15 years with Hewlett Packard (1988–2003), where he held several senior leadership positions. He began his career with Hindustan Lever in 1975 and subsequently worked with organisations including ICIM, Hotel Corporation of India and Johnson & Johnson before joining Hewlett Packard. He served on the Syllabus Committee of Symbiosis University and on the Board of the National HRD Network of India, including as its Honorary CEO. He also served as Chairman of the Manpower Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and was a member of several task forces of the Singapore Government. He is also an author of two books, HR Management in India – A Legal Perspective and Strategic HR Planning. He has served as a visiting professor at leading management institutions, including XLRI, Jamshedpur; IMI, Delhi; and SIBM, Pune, contributing to the development of future HR and business leaders.
