Vinay Bansal resigns from CEAT as Independent Director

Vinay Bansal, the 78-year-old Non-Executive Independent Director of CEAT, has tendered his resignation, effective from June 1, 2023. Having served as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer for the Maharashtra Cadre from 1969 to 2005, Bansal brings a wealth of experience in senior management and administration in both state and union governments spanning over 35 years. He concluded his career as the Secretary of the Department of Chemicals under the Government of India.
