Venkata Rama Subbu Behara Resigns As Independent Director Of DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals
Venkata Rama Subbu Behara has tendered his resignation as an Independent Director of DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Limited with effect from September 8, 2026.
Subbu joined the Tata Administrative Service in 1977 and was subsequently seconded to TELCO (now Tata Motors Limited). In 1997, he was part of the team that established Hyundai Motor India, initially serving as Director – Marketing & Sales and later as President of the company. He is recognised for developing Hyundai Motor’s strategy that helped establish the brand as India’s second-largest car company within six months of its entry. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of MTAR Technologies and as a Director on the Board of Gabriel India. Previously, he has served on the Boards of KPIT Technologies, Ola Electric, Sona Comstar, Greaves Cotton, International Tractors and Proton, Malaysia. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
