Union Bank’s Rajiv Mishra Appointed Executive Director at Bank of India

The Government of India has appointed Rajiv Mishra, currently serving as Chief General Manager, Union Bank of India, as Executive Director of the Bank of India for three years, with effect from March 1, 2024.

Rajiv Mishra was part of the Leadership Development Programme for Senior PSB Management with BBB and IIM-Bangalore. Mishra has 24 years of diverse experience across Digital, Analytics & IT, Retail and MSME Credit, Large Corporates, Recovery, and Treasury. He spearheaded the digital journey transformation for Union Bank of India, including the launch of their flagship mobile app, VYOM. He has occupied multiple leadership positions across fields and verticals. He led the successful business performance of Union Bank of India’s largest and most critical units, viz., Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Varanasi, as Zonal Head and Regional Head. He also headed Digital, IT, Analytics, Recovery and Liabilities. He has also served on the boards of Kashi Gomti Samyut Gramin Bank, Varanasi, UP Industrial Consultant Ltd., established by the Govt. of UP, SIDBI and PSBs, and UBI Services. He has completed his post-graduation with an MBA, and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and the Insurance Institute of India.
