Tata Digital Appoints Naveen Tahilyani as MD & CEO, Pratik Pal Resigns

Naveen Tahilyani has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) at Tata Digital, with effect from February 19, 2024. He replaced Pratik Pal, who resigned recently.

Naveen Tahiliyani has been the MD and CEO of Tata AIA Life Insurance since 2020. Currently, Tahilyani is in the process of transitioning responsibilities to Venkatachalam H., who will take over at Tata AIA Life Insurance. This marked Naveen’s second tenure with Tata AIA, having previously served as MD and CEO for three years before departing in 2018. He was the Group Executive for banking and transformation at Axis Bank. He was also a Senior Partner and Director for more than 17 years at McKinsey & Company.

Pratik Pal took on the position and played a crucial part in the introduction of the Tata Neu app in 2019. Before becoming a part of the group, Pal dedicated more than 28 years to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he held the role of President for Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality.
