Tata Chemicals’ Executive Director Zarir Langrana Retired

Zarir Langrana, Executive Director and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of Tata Chemical Limited, retired on February 29, 2024, at the age of superannuation.

Zarir Langrana has been with Tata Chemicals for over thirty years and has led Tata Chemicals’ Global Chemicals Business, overseeing its operations and growth, as well as new ventures in Nutraceuticals and Silica. Previously, Langrana led the global marketing and strategy team, directing sales and marketing plans and new product activities across the continents where Tata Chemicals operates. He also managed post-merger integration programmes within the chemical division. Before that, he spearheaded corporate strategy and business development, playing a crucial role in the company’s global expansion through mergers and acquisitions. He has attended executive development programmes at Harvard Business School and other institutions. Additionally, he actively participates in industry bodies and trade associations and serves on the board of the company’s international subsidiaries. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Madras and a postgraduate qualification in business management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
