Tata Capital’s Chief Internal Auditor S. Bhaskar Has Retired

Bhaskar, Chief Internal Auditor and member of the founding leadership team at Tata Capital Limited, has retired on August 31, 2024.

Bhaskar has 38 years of experience, and he is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also a Certified Independent Director from the IICA. Most recently, he served as the Chief Internal Auditor of Tata Capital, providing leadership to the Internal Audit function at Tata Capital Ltd. and its subsidiaries/managed entities. He had joined the Tata Group in 2008 as part of the founding leadership team at Tata Capital. His distinguished career includes stints at renowned organisations such as Hindustan Lever Limited (MNC), The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. (PSU), and the private sector.

Bhaskar serves as a member of the Board of Trustees in the Global Internal Audit Foundation of the IIA Inc. Earlier, he had served as the National President of IIA-India and was also a member of the IIA’s Global Committees for two terms. He had also served as a member of the Audit Advisory Committee for the United Nations Office for Project Services for two terms.
