Swiggy’s Independent Director Malika Srinivasan Resigns Ahead of the IPO

Malika Srinivasan, Independent Director of Swiggy, stepped down on February 8, 2024. The resignation happens as Swiggy is getting ready for the initial public offering (IPO), expected this year.

Swiggy said that she resigned due to increased commitments to other businesses but did not provide further details.

Malika Srinivasan was appointed to Swiggy’s board in February 2023. She is the CMD of TAFE and a Padma Shri awardee. She was one of the initial Independent Directors on Swiggy’s Board and worked alongside members such as co-founder and group CEO Sriharsha Majety, co-founder Nandan Reddy, Ashutosh Sharma from Prosus Ventures India, Sumer Juneja from SoftBank Investment Advisors, Anand Daniel from Accel, and others.
