SVP-HSE and Head-Sustainability of Navin Fluorine International Deepak Naik Resigns

Deepak Naik, Senior Vice President, HSE, and Head of Sustainability at Navin Fluorine International Limited, has tendered his resignation with effect from January 15, 2024, due to personal reasons. Gyanchand Jain, who is currently designated as President, Strategy, will assume additional responsibilities for HSE and sustainability until a suitable senior professional is identified for the position.

Deepak Jain has more than 38 years of experience in petrochemicals, polymers, specialty chemicals, and bulk chemicals, having worked with companies like Reliance Industries, J.K. Synthetics, Finolex Industries, and Indorama. Jain has previously handled the operations of the company’s Surat unit for 11 years as President Operations, where he was also responsible for HSE and sustainability. Additionally, he also played a key role in embedding the HSE function at the Dewas unit and Dahej unit under the company’s subsidiary, Navin Fluorine Advanced Sciences Limited. He is a chemical engineer with a Postgraduate Graduate Diploma in Management.
