South Indian Bank Appoints Dolphy Jose as Executive Director

Dolphy Jose was appointed as a whole-time Executive Director of the South Indian Bank Limited by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), with effect from June 14, 2024.

Dolphy Jose, 54, has more than twenty-five years of experience in driving and establishing businesses in the retail and commercial banking spaces, with expertise in both retail assets and liabilities, branch banking, P&L management, and institutional and government business. He had almost two decades of association with Kotak Mahindra Bank. His last position with Kotak Mahindra Bank was as Executive Vice President, Institutional Business (Retail Liabilities). Currently, he is associated with Karur Vysya Bank as Chief General Manager and Group Head, Consumer Banking. His educational background includes a Professional Programme in Fintech: Specialisation in Payments and Lending from SP Jain School of Global Management, a Masters’ in Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from the Institute for Technology and Management, complemented with a specialised Certificate Programme in IT and Cyber Security for Senior Management from the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), a General Management Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, an Executive Programme from Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, a Certified Course in Computer Programming from BITS Mumbai, and a degree in Commerce.
