Shikha Sharma Appointed Non-Executive Independent Director of Tata Coffee

The Board of Directors of Tata Coffee Limited has appointed Shikha Sharma as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent) of the company for a term of 5 years, with effect from October 30, 2023.

Shikha Sharma is experienced in banking and insurance. Sharma serves on the board of directors for several companies, including Tata Consumer Products Limited, Tech Mahindra Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, Piramal Enterprises Limited, and Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited. Additionally, she is an advisor and consultant to Piramal Enterprises Limited, Billionbrains Garage Ventures Private Limited, the Bahaar Foundation, a unit of Akshati Charitable Trust, and Google India Digital Services Pvt. Ltd. She is also a member of the Board of Governors of IIM, Lucknow.

She started her career at ICICI Bank in 1980. She held various roles at ICICI and later became the Managing Director and CEO of Axis Bank. She transformed Axis Bank from a corporate lender to a bank with retail deposits. She has received awards like CNBC TV18 Outstanding Businesswoman and is on the boards of several companies.

She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology from the National Centre for Software Technology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad.
