Sharda Cropchem Appoints H. S. Upendra Kamath, Shalin Divatia, & Vinod Kathuria as Independent Directors

The Board of Directors of Sharda Cropchem Limited has appointed H. S. Upendra Kamath, Shalin S. Divatia, and Vinod Kumar Kathuria as Additional Directors in the capacity of Non-Executive and Independent Directors for five years with effect from May 10, 2024. Subject to the approval of the members at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

H. S. Upendra Kamath is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com). He has more than four decades of experience in the Indian banking industry. He possesses a wealth of expertise in critical areas such as MSME, Retail Banking, Priority Sector, Recovery and Legal Risk Management, International Banking, Treasury, Credit Monitoring, and Administration.

Shalin S. Divatia is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and also possesses a Bachelor of Law (L.L.B.) and a Bachelor degree in Commerce (B.Com.). He has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Audit and Corporate Law as well as expertise in Corporate Matters, Mergers and Amalgamation and Exchange Control Matters.

Vinod Kumar Kathuria is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB) and also possesses a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com.). He has more than 40 years of experience in the Indian banking industry. He possesses expertise in key banking areas such as Corporate Credit, Recovery, Retail Lending, Treasury Operations, International Banking Business.
