Shailesh Jejurikar Appointed As Chairman Of P&G While Continuing As CEO

Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors effective August 1, 2026. He will continue in his role as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while taking charge as Chairman.

The appointment follows the retirement of Jon Moeller, who stepped down from the Board on July 31, 2026, and will retire from the company on August 14, 2026, after a 38-year association with P&G.

Before becoming CEO, Jejurikar served as Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing Enterprise Markets, Information Technology, Global Business Services, sales, manufacturing, and distribution & purchasing. He previously led P&G’s Fabric & Home Care business, which includes brands such as Tide, Ariel and Febreze. He leads the company’s global operations across more than 180 countries, serving billions of consumers worldwide. He joined P&G in 1989 and has over three decades of experience across businesses including Health & Beauty Care, Home Care, Fabric Care and P&G Professional. He has also contributed to P&G’s global sustainability initiatives and serves on Boards supporting community development and healthcare initiatives.
