Sanjiv Rangrass Set To Join Bayer CropScience As Independent Director; Sekhar Natarajan To Retire

Sanjiv Rangrass has been appointed as Independent Director (Additional Director) of Bayer CropScience Limited, effective August 1, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 67th Annual General Meeting.

Sekhar Natarajan will retire as Independent Director of the company with effect from August 6, 2025.

Sanjiv Rangrass is a mentor, coach, and prominent angel investor. He is a Venture Partner at Capria Ventures. He spent over four decades at ITC Ltd, where he held key roles, including Group Head for R&D, Sustainability and Projects, and Chief Executive of the agri-business division. He is an Independent Director on the Board of Zetwerk and Co-Founder of TAC (The Agri Collaboratory), a not-for-profit “Think and Do Tank” focused on building open-source digital public goods for agriculture. His leadership spanned manufacturing, engineering, and HR, and he played a central role in ITC’s Sustainability 2.0 initiative, driving efforts on carbon and water neutrality and transitioning to a circular economy. Rangrass holds a degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Kanpur and is active in the Pan IIT Council.
